About us

Waggy walks with my labrador and spaniels. Coosy cuddles with our fold of highland cattle. I am very lucky to live in this beautiful part of the world and live on a small holding with land. My new business takes full advantage of this and is shared between two of my favourite things dogs and highland cows, but mainly revolves around my love of being outdoors in nature. I find that the best therapy there is and it has helped me with my mental health throughout all sorts of times from Covid and major bereavement to the day to day stress of keeping animals and having kids 😂

 

I was a district nurse in my local area until December 2021, but had been off sick for the most part of 2021 because I lost my mother suddenly and unexpectedly in January 2021. After this my whole perspective changed. I walked miles with my dogs and ultimately they saved me.

 

Starting this business felt like i was paying them back by working from home and keeping the level of contact we had shared instead of me going back to work and stress.

 

I offer dog walking, group or solo, doggy daycare, drop in visits at your home for puppies or elderly dogs, cats other pets, dog boarding in my home - loved as part of the family, wedding chaperoning - allowing your furry family their rightful place on your special day and highland cattle experiences. All services can be adapted to meet your dogs needs. 

 

Day Care

Drop your dog with us on the way to work and they will have a day of fun with our black lab, McKenzie and our Wesite, Lulu.

 

Dog Walking

We will collect your dog and then lead walk. No pack walking so your pet has all the attention and fun.

 

Pop In Visits

If you are going away, whether it’s just for the day, overnight or longer we can pop in and care for your rabbit, Guinea pig, hamster, cat.

 

Nutrition and Health

Dawn is a nutritional therapist and is certified in Canine Nutrition and Health. Just like human’s, food has a huge impact on health and well-being. It is a minefield out there with some very clever marketing and poor-quality products, yes, there is canine “fast food”. Dawn also offers a food intolerance/sensitivity test which can save time, money and stress and a happier healthier dog.
