Hectors Greyhound Rescue
Charity No: 1168327
Hector’s Greyhound Rescue is devoted to rescuing and rehoming ex-racing greyhounds and other sighthounds. As a registered charity Hector’s rely on the support of the fundraising efforts of volunteers and the kind donations of the public to fund our work. Greyhounds and sighthounds are rescued by Hector’s for a variety of reasons: some are no longer wanted by the racing industry, others are taken directly from trainers, some are relieved from the dog pound after being found as strays and others are handed in by owners who can no longer care for them.
Hector’s built and opened their own kennels in 2019, the kennels were purpose built around the needs of greyhounds/sighthound breed and are nestled in the idyllic Welsh countryside of Aberystwyth.
Our kennels are a peaceful haven for the dogs we rescue and provides them with the love and care they require to enable their move from kennel life into a loving home.

Wood Green, The Animal Charity
Charity No: 298348
Welcome to Wood Green, The Animals Charity – home of Channel Four’s The Dog House. We help unloved and unwanted pets get back on their paws, and find them the perfect owner and a new forever home.
Ever since we first opened our doors in North London in 1924, we’ve been transforming pets’ lives – and through them, the lives of owners. From those humble beginnings we’ve grown into one of the UK’s largest pet charities and our converted farm in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire is purpose-built, ready to help dogs, cats and more.
In 2019 we cared for 4,269 dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and rodents. And alongside our animal care and rehoming services, we help thousands of pet owners with advice, support, and training so they can give their pet everything they need.

Boycie's Bridge
Boycie’s Bridge dog rescue charity is a very small local rescue based in Stafford. We take in a small number of homeless dogs from the area and find them new homes. We are voluntary and totally non profit. We carry out home checks on all potential homes and all our dogs are neutered.
We do have set minimum adoption fees and we rely on donations from supporters to continue helping dogs in need. We have a non destruct policy in place for all dogs in our care.
We use foster homes for our dogs to ensure that we can assess them in a home environment, so the most suitable new home can be found.
