BUSINESS REVIEWS MATTER

At The Pet Directory Services, we take all reviews submitted in respect of businesses listed on our directory very seriously. Reviews, whether positive or negative, are valuable to both the business concerned and to potential customers seeking to make informed decisions.

We recognise that negative reviews may, in some cases, be genuine and constructive. Such reviews can provide a business with an opportunity to reflect, learn and make appropriate improvements where required. However, we also recognise that false or malicious reviews may be submitted with the intention of causing reputational or commercial harm to a business.

 Anyone submitting a review must ensure that the information provided is honest, accurate and based on genuine experience. The submission of a false written review may amount to defamation, and a business may be entitled to seek legal advice and pursue remedies available under applicable law, including the Defamation Act 2013.

To help ensure that reviews submitted through the directory are genuine, we have updated the way in which reviews may be submitted.
