About Us

At Ginger Hound Photos I offer outdoor and studio photography in Shropshire and Mid-Wales. Wholesome, heartwarming portraits and adventures for pets and their favourite people. Connecting to nature and experiencing beautiful locations whilst savouring time with your dog. 

I offer a limited number of personalised photo sessions in Mid-Wales and on location around Shropshire and the Midlands. We have some stunning areas close by but I am also happy to travel to you if you have favourite walks or your dog is no longer able to make the journey. Pop the kettle on, have a sniff around my portfolios, then get in touch and let's have a chat about your dog and how we can capture some memories through beautiful photography. 

Studio Sessions

Studio sessions with your dog take place in my relaxed little woodland studio near Welshpool.

There will be big smiles, dog treats and probably a friendly ‘woof’ from my own dog on your arrival!

We’ll have plenty of time to allow your dog to get used to the studio, most relax pretty quickly once they know there are tasty treats and bags full of attention to be had!

Though my studio is small I have lots of lovely backdrops and props so we can find something that suits your dogs personality.

Studio sessions suit any type of dog and the clean images that are produced make the resulting artwork perfect for most homes. If you have a particular idea in mind (or backdrop colour-scheme) then just let me know and we can work out your perfect studio session.

Outdoor Sessions

Dogs love to get out and explore, let’s turn it into a Photographic Adventure and capture all that you love about them.

Think you have no good photos of you with your beloved pooch? We can sort that out as there will be mountains of opportunities to capture the love you have for them. Mid Wales is like a rucksack full of fabulous locations – woodland, mountains, forests, waterfalls, dams and beaches – we have it all, lets get out there and explore!

What about an Urban photo shoot? Maybe you are more of a City-lover? Let’s use the streets and buildings as our backdrop with your dog-about-town furry companion. Worried about them being off-lead? They won’t be. I’ll edit out any leads so they’ll always be safe .
