Prior to being listed on the directory all businesses are required to submit certain documentation, for home sitting the basic we ask for is to ensure that they are Fully Insured to carry out this service, though the majority of the businesses now also have some form of pet first aid training. Some businesses also hold DBS checks, and other qualifications which can all be found on their listing if they have a dedicated page or on their own website / social media if they don't have the premium listing.
Please note - that whilst we carry on initial checks on all businesses to list businesses on the directory and checks for renewals for Basic and Premium listings things can change between checks, it is advised to always ask to see a copy of their insurance and never be afraid to ask about training, qualifications and where required in certain services licences, any reputable business will always be willing to show you these. Free listings the documents are only checked when they first list with the directory, due to no renewals for the Free listings it is essential that you ask to see the documents yourself.
